Sharon has confessed to this same thing. It's the sort of "wow-what kind of lens were we seeing this thing through" thing as The Herculoids was for boys.
Proof: At some point in the past year, we rented from the local video store something that turned out to be a WEIRD, PSYCHEDELIC cartoon of Strawberry Shortcake from the late 70s. It blew my fucking mind.
The new S.S.; I don't know much about, other than the fact she exists. She's on a fleece blanket Lucy got when she was born.

What if the ride was just being pulled by this truck in strawberry shaped seats?
Nice catch.
And being driven by....Strawberry Shortcake who, some of you without small girls may not be aware, has made a comeback.
Indeed - awesome catch.
Dan, I did not know about the comeback, but Cheri confessed to me that she was a fan of '70s Shortcake.
I'm hoping to be out to see this thing in motion, and will attempt to photograph it acccordingly.

Cheri went on YouTube at the same time I found the old Harlem Globetrotters stuff. So, an educational experience for us all.

I refuse to rectify strawberry persecution through photos, MT.
