Our great purge of stuff continues. My wife unearthed this item today, which I recall was something given to students at West High in 1989. I don't remember when exactly I got this. That's to be expected. I've attempted to block out a lot of stuff during that time. I get that it reads "senior". I can't recall if it was attached to the tassle, or conveyed in some other way. Recently, I re-acquired my letter for band (yea, that's right, I lettered in band). Still not located? My drama club sweatshirt from 1986. Again, you read that right.

I have NEVER seen that.
whoa!
Me, neither.
Funny, my work has a little banner thing they hang outside everyone's cube, where you can put little commendation pins of various sorts of training & so on. Well, I surreptitiously affixed a little red pin I got for placing in a high school speech competition in (I think) 1988. To date, no one's noticed.
Nice & classy, by the way; lain (weird word - IS that a word?) out on off-white linen paper & all.
Okay, my mom explained that it was a graduation key that came with some of the other high school accouterments, like invitations to graduation, etc. It wasn't something that the school gave out.
Dan: the paper is the cover to my graduate school ceremony schedule.
All right, Stephen!
