Ducks. We live on their time.

Memo

To: MT
From: Stephen
Re: Your duck rant

I have not forgotten, nor dismissed, your threats of never coming to look at these pictures again. Two things:

1. I am not a duck wrangler.
2. They took my beloved "Duck Crossing" sign down, to make way for some library expansions.

I pray for your patience while I wait for the right moment. I walked by the river yesterday, only to find the ducks had fled a group of junior high students on a field trip. I cannot blame them.

I missed the MT rant the first time around.

I'm scared of the challenges he may offer.

Careful guys! His eyes tire of all your text! I don't know if he goes for excuses, but I doubt it. And don't reveal your fear - he just hates that.

I'm sure fear isn't present here. I'm just not going to go chasing after ducks. Such is the spirit of this whole project: document what's there.

Unless you got The Juggernaut breathing down your neck. Then, all bets are off.

You have asked for patience. I will grant you my patience. But, a fancy memo will only keep me patient for so long.

I will continue to look at your photos briefly until the challenge has been satisfied.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and Mighty Tom's words are worth a thousand pictures. Or they may be, when his next challenge is one thousand photos of ducks in a single day.

All well and good, these challenges, but remember this simple rule:

On this blog, I take the fucking pictures.
